Tim Clepper: I remember the first time somebody told me “yes” in a sale.

Interviewer: How did that feel?

Tim Clepper: I was so not used to hearing it that I didn’t know what to do. It was the craziest thing. And if anybody is listening to this that’s a salesman you know what I’m talking about. Because it’s like the first time somebody says “yes” to what you’re selling, you’re like: I can repeat that! And so you might even go on a losing streak, but you get addicted to that, right? And then you go out and get it and that’s what makes you a crazy, great salesperson. And anybody that’s listening would know, it’s the addiction to that person saying yes again. Right? So if you really boil it down to my very essence that’s what I fell in love with that put me into the situation we’re in today. I fell in love with sales, and then realized that really what I fell in love with was the fact that I could create relationships from just total strangers.
